Davis Kiwanis Luncheons – 1st and 3rd Thursdays of Every Month
The Davis Kiwanis Club has luncheons on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of every month at 12:00 noon to 1:15 PM at Symposium Restaurant and Pizza House to talk about upcoming events, catch up with our fellow members and listen to excellent speakers. See below for upcoming speakers.
Thursday, September 4th:
Our Speaker will be Gill Williams, the founder of NorCal Trykers.
NorCal Trykers officially opened its doors on January 11, 2017. Since then, they have been fortunate to have received donations to fund over 300 trykes for kids with disabilities.
Their all volunteer team is made up of physical and occupational therapy professionals with years of experience working with children with disabilities. The team is rounded out with individuals with medical, fundraising, marketing, accounting and administrative expertise.
Gill Williams, the founder of NorCal Trykers, is a Physical Therapist who recently retired from Shriners Hospitals for Children in Sacramento. She began her career in London, England and came to the USA in 2002. She has a life-long love and belief in the benefits of exercise and wanted to take this into NorCal Trykers to enable children with disabilities to ride trikes and exercise with ease.

Cost: $10 (includes pizza and salad) for first time visitors, $16 thereafter
