The Kiwanis Club of Davis’ Crab Feed is a 42-year-old tradition that has raised thousands of dollars each year for the benefit of local charities. Quite a while to be enjoying crab and pasta together. During this fundraiser, we offer a crab dinner and bar for attendees and invite local organizations around Davis to act as sponsors or submit items for silent auction. We also organize a raffle for various items and gift baskets that attendees can participate in. Our coordinators work with our local Circle K International students to prepare and serve the food, sell auction tickets, and set up the event. It is a great opportunity to eat delicious crab, contribute to a local charity, and enjoy new company!

School Supplies Drive
Imagine being a child, walking in the halls on the first day of the new school year surrounded by other children that are all walking to class with backpacks on their backs excited for the day- that is, everyone but you. We may not always realize it, but children and their families may be going through many difficulties at home that we don’t see. The difference between walking to school with a paper bag and a backpack can mean the whole world to a child who just wants to find a place they can belong. And not only backpacks, but school supplies like pencils, rulers, markers, paper, etc.
Our Kiwanis club comes together every year to fundraise and organize supplies for children and families in need within the Davis Joint Unified School District and other organizations.
You may be wondering how your skills at golf compare to the other members. Well, this is your chance to show everyone how good you are! The Kiwanis Golf Tournament is a great opportunity to get to know other members and have a fun time. Stay tuned for more news.
4th of July Kiddie’s Parade
Come celebrate our nation’s independence with us! We invite families and individuals to come by in their red, white, and blue decorated wagons, bicycles, and accessories alongside the Davis Fire Department to march down C Street to Central Park in a colorful display of pride! We end the march at Central Park where the city organizes fun activities to do through the day before the fireworks show in the evening.
2023 marked the 61st annual 4th of July Kiddie’s Parade!
Our Kiwanis Club works with local organizations in downtown Davis to decorate the streets with United States Flags on major national holidays such as Memorial Day, Veterans Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and more. We put up the flags around 7:00 AM in the morning and take them down around 4:00 PM in the evening.
